About me

Hello! I’m Rachel, a local pet sitter who quite simply loves all animals. From a very young age, I’ve always had a passion for caring for pets, and when I’m not balancing my day job as an Art Psychotherapist, you’ll find me hanging out with neighbourhood animals and spending time with my own cat Talulah. 

I would love the pleasure of looking after your pets while you are on holiday or away for long hours. This will give you total peace of mind that your pet is safe, fed, and happy in your absence. I bring a calm, organised, and reliable approach to every visit, tailored to your pet’s specific routine. Whether your furry friend has paws, whiskers, or fancy tuxedo markings, they’ll be in very loving hands!

Vet trip assistance provides caring, reliable support when you cannot take your pet to an appointment yourself. I’ll collect them safely, accompany them to the vet, and ensure they are settled back at home afterwards.

Each visit is tailored to your pet’s routine and includes:

– Checking on your pet’s overall welfare, health, and comfort
– Feeding, providing fresh water, and cleaning up any unexpected accidents
– Litter tray or cage/enclosure cleaning
– Administering Medication
– Interactive play, exercise, gentle grooming, or quiet companionship
– Basic home checks: bringing in post, watering plants, adjusting curtains/blinds, and switching lights or TV on/off
– Keeping pet areas clean and tidy throughout my visit

We begin with a free, no-obligation Meet & Greet at your home. This allows me to introduce myself to your pets, run through their care routine, and go over any specific instructions before you book. I will ask you to complete a pet information sheet about you and your pet details and needs, habits, foods, timing and/or any medical conditions. I will include a veterinary release form authorising me to provide any emergency treatment (shall this happen) in your absence.
